The ideal candidate has experience in board-level RF electronics design. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about developing leading-edge RF hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you. In this position, you will be responsible for RF circuits and systems through all phases of the development process. The ideal candidate will be proficient in board-level schematic design and PCB layout of RF circuits, and system-level communications concepts such as link budgets and modulation schemes. Responsibilities:
Assist with the design and development of RF circuits, transceivers, receivers, transmitters, amplifiers, filters, and microwave components.
Perform RF analyses, circuit simulations, link budget calculations, impedance matching, frequency planning, and performance evaluations.
Review engineering requirements, RF specifications, simulation results, and technical documentation supporting RF design readiness.
Perform RF verification, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Analyze RF measurements, simulation data, laboratory results, and engineering observations to identify trends and recommend solutions.
Support root cause investigations, engineering changes, corrective actions, and RF performance improvements.
Collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering teams supporting RF product development.
Develop engineering reports, simulation documentation, RF measurement reports, and engineering change documentation.
Participate in design reviews, engineering investigations, product integration, and qualification activities.
Review RF engineering methods, simulation practices, and development processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Apply RF engineering methodologies, industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements throughout product development.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance RF performance, engineering efficiency, reliability, and quality.
Requirements:
A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from an accredited university or institution.
2+ years of industry experience in design and analysis of RF electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting.
Experience with professional simulation tools such as CST and ADS, as well as EDA tools such Altium.
Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
